How are you all doing today? I hope you’re having an amazing day. I’m hoping that it’s still your joy no matter what’s going on. Welcome to Maryam’s Joyful Life Blog! It’s a beautiful day today, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Today, I just want to talk about something simple—something that might seem normal—but could actually turn into something extraordinary.

You know how some days just feel like “one of those days”? Maybe you woke up feeling a little off, like it’s just going to be another regular day. But what if, instead of expecting it to be another normal day, you decided to expect something amazing?

What if you decided to bring a different kind of excitement into today—something new, something fresh—and break that old habit of expecting the same? What if you just shifted your energy a little, moved your body like someone who just got great news, smiled a little wider, and decided that today is going to be the best day of your life?

What If Today Is the Day Everything Changes?

What if today is the day your prayers finally get answered?

What if today your life completely turns around—the business takes off, the money you’ve been praying for comes in, or that one opportunity you’ve been waiting for finally shows up?

What if today you wake up and find out that the healing you’ve been praying for has already taken place? What if the treatment worked, the job came through, the doors opened, and everything that used to be hard just started working out in your favor?

What if today is the day your inbox is full of congratulations, your phone keeps ringing with good news, and people can’t stop saying, “Wow, this is amazing!”

What if you get that check in the mail that changes everything, or that email that says “You’ve been approved!” What if today you meet your dream partner, find out you’re pregnant with healthy babies, or move into your dream home?

Just think about it for a second—how would you move if today was that day? How would you talk? How would you praise God?

Act Like It’s Already Happened

My encouragement to you today is to start acting like it’s already done. Start praising like it’s already yours. Start expecting the good things to happen for you.

Because when you shift your energy and your attitude, everything around you starts to shift too.

I’m praying that today is that day for you—the day you get your big breakthrough, the day that makes sense of everything you’ve been through. The day that shows you God has been working behind the scenes the whole time.

My Prayer for You

I pray that God’s hand is stretched toward you today.

That His love surrounds you.

That His mercy speaks for you.

I pray that blessings overflow in your life today, that breakthroughs come easily, and that everything you’ve been waiting for starts to happen in a beautiful, miraculous way.

May today be the day your story changes for good.

Today I want to share something really close to my heart — my journey from heartbreak to restoration. This story is not just about pain; it’s about faith, hope, and how God can turn the most difficult moments of our lives into something beautiful.

💕 How It All Began

Many years ago, I went through one of the hardest seasons of my life. I lost my first baby girl. She was so precious, but her little body couldn’t stay long in this world. She passed away at just seven weeks old.

That pain was deep. I didn’t understand it. I cried and prayed, asking God why. But even through the tears, I kept trusting Him. I told God, “I don’t know why this happened, but I believe You are still good.”

Then, just two months later, something miraculous happened. I found out I was pregnant again — with my son Le’Veon.

🕊️ God’s Promise Through Le’Veon

Le’Veon’s pregnancy was filled with faith and fear at the same time. After what I had gone through, I was scared. But every single day, I prayed and spoke life over my baby. I declared, “You will live, you will be strong, and you will be healthy.”

And today, every time I look at Le’Veon, I see God’s promise fulfilled. He’s a reminder that God restores what’s been lost.

In one of my Unshakable Faith Podcast episodes, Le’Veon actually interviewed me. He asked me some of the sweetest questions like,

“Mama, what was it like finding out you were pregnant with me after losing your first baby?”
“How did you keep trusting God when things were so hard?”

Those questions touched my heart. I could see how far we’ve come and how faithful God has been through it all.

🌼 From Pain to Purpose

Now I have three beautiful children — Le’Veon, Zoe, and Leila. Each one is a testimony that God still does miracles. Every time I think about what I went through, I just smile and thank Him.

If you’re going through something painful right now, I want you to know this:

God has not forgotten you.
Your story is not over.
He still has a beautiful plan for your life.

Sometimes, the hardest seasons of our lives are the ones that produce the most beautiful blessings. You may not see it right now, but one day you’ll look back and understand why it had to happen the way it did.

It’s A New Day and Here’s What I’m Praying For You

When Life Feels Too Heavy

Maybe your situation feels heavy right now. Maybe you’re facing something that seems impossible. Maybe it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the entire world on your shoulders. I want to remind you of something important: you don’t have to carry it all alone.

Scripture tells us to “cast all our burdens on the Lord, for He cares for us.” (1 Peter 5:7). What’s going on in your mind might be adding more weight than the situation itself, but God never intended for you to walk through this life in your own strength.

Choosing to Reset Your Mind

Today, I invite you to pause and say to yourself:

“There’s no heavy weight on me. God is my strength and God is the one carrying me.”

The heaviness you feel is not from God. It’s a lie meant to drain your hope. Instead, choose to surrender and pray:

“Lord, I give You this burden. I can’t do this on my own, and I was never meant to. You are my strength and my hope. Have Your way in me.”

A Prayer Over You Today

As you release your burdens, I am joining you in prayer and asking the Holy Spirit to:

• Guide and protect you
• Fill you with peace and joy that cannot be explained
• Surround you with divine favor like never before
• Bless your work, your home, your children, and your relationships
• Direct your every step and let mercy speak for you

May today be a day of breakthrough and remembrance in your life. 💖

It's Been A Few Days But I'm Here

 Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely friend. Hope this post meets you in great spirits. I have been so busy being a mom and working on other business plans that I forgot to say consistent with posting but I'm here now.

God is so good and always finds a way to reach out to us when we call. Are you overwhelmed, tired, frustrated and or at the verge of giving up? I'm here with good news, He's right there with you and saying this to you "My help is available to you and my strength is bigger than your mistakes and failures. Let me help you carry your burdens!" Are you going to willingly surrender or hold on to what is hurting you or will you right now, honestly open your heart and let God help?

As for me, right this minute, I'm surrendering all of it to God! I don't want to be in the belly of the fish to remember to pray. I want to 'skip the fish' as Pastor Steven Furtick advised in one of his videos about "God thoughts." I don't want to wait anymore until things get out of hand to cry out to my Heavenly father. I advise you to do the same.

I'm praying for God's grace and strength to wrap around you and guide you today and make your day! 

You're worthy and deserving of God's help today!

THE CHARGER WAS NOT EVEN CONNECTED

 

The charger was not connected

I just had a HolyGhost lightbulb moment and wanted to share it with you all. 

A couple of hours ago, I wanted to connect one of my phones to charge but was struggling to get it to charge. It seemed like the charger head I had was not working correctly, so I switched the head for one I knew was good. After switching them out, it still wouldn't work. I didn't even see a sign that the phone was charging, even after playing around with it to get it to work, I still wasn't making a head way. Then I decided to take a second  look at the connection to the extension. 

That was when I noticed that while I had the right head connected, the charger wasn't connected to the power source. Then it hit me! WOW! How often do we prepare ourselves for what we want to achieve and have all the right tools but forget to connect our charger heads to the extension for power to come through? 

I think that there are times when we spend a lot of time doing "the right things," and still end up falling short because we forget to plug into the power source. 

Today, I'd like to remind us (myself included), to pay attention to the little things! The smallest detail if missed, could be the cause of BIG setbacks! 

Remember to plug into the power source. In life, the first power source we need is a prayerful life. 

In ALL THINGS, PRAY!

Remember to pray for guidance, protection and Divine provision and trust that God will come through!

God’s Protection: Why Prayer Matters Every Day

A Scary Moment at the Store

This morning started out just like any other. I got my kids ready for school, dropped them off, and then took the baby with me to the store to grab a few things we needed.

On our way out of the parking lot, something unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, a big truck came straight toward us—even though it was a one-way exit. For a moment, it felt like the truck was headed directly at us.

By God’s grace, I was able to stop fast enough before there was a collision. 🙌 Only God knows what could have happened if I hadn’t.

I then noticed the man driving the truck was moving strangely around the parking lot—entering the wrong way, circling in and out of the wrong spots. It almost felt intentional, like an attack. That moment reminded me why it’s so important to stay prayed up and covered by God’s protection.

The Power of Prayer

Family, I can’t emphasize this enough: pray before you leave your home. Prayer is our shield. The Bible tells us that the enemy roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. But we don’t have to live in fear, because God is our protector.

Here are some powerful scriptures I encourage you to pray daily over yourself and your loved ones:

• Psalm 91 – For divine protection
• Psalm 23 – For peace and provision
• Psalm 121 – For God’s constant watch over us
• Psalm 109 & Psalm 35 – For protection against the plans of the wicked

Today, I want to declare over you:

✨ No evil shall befall you or your family.

✨ God’s angels are watching over your steps.

✨ It will always be good news concerning you and your household.

God is with you, His favor surrounds you, and His protection covers you.

A Vision Rooted in Community

Former Mayor Bobby Cartwright, who is also a farmer, first had the vision for the store and garden. For a while, that vision slowed down as the city explored other directions. But thanks to the leadership of Mayor Marci Fluellyn, the garden has been brought back to life.
