🌿 A Call to Peace: Let Go, Trust, and Surrender

What’s up, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people?

How are you all doing today? I truly hope your day is filled with joy, light, and beautiful moments. Welcome to Amster Life—I’m so happy you’re here. It’s a beautiful day, and I’m grateful we get to share this moment together.

Today, I want to gently call our hearts toward one powerful thing… peace.

✨ What Is Peace, Really?

Peace isn’t something far away or impossible to reach.

Peace is the absence of chaos and confusion in our minds. It’s the release of fear, anxiety, and worry.

Peace is deeper than circumstances.

It’s the connection to the very essence of who we are—the spirit within us that remains steady, no matter what is happening around us. Even in the middle of chaos, the peace of God is already within your heart right now.

So the question becomes…

💭 Why Do We Block Our Own Peace?

Sometimes, we feel like we should suffer when things don’t go our way.

We think:

“I should worry.”

“I should be upset.”

“I should feel stressed.”

And yes, worry can be part of the human experience—but it becomes a problem when we allow it to take control.

When fear, anxiety, and stress begin to lead our lives, they pull us away from the peace that already belongs to us.

🌱 The Shift: Let Go and Trust

So how do we shift out of that cycle?

One truth stands out:

Learn to let go… and trust.

This is where faith comes in.

When we trust God, we trust Him with everything:

our setbacks

our failures

our pain

our mistakes

the unknown

We come as we are and say:

“God, I couldn’t do it on my own. If I knew better, I would’ve done better. I need your help.”

There is something powerful about being honest, about surrendering fully and saying:

“I’m stressed. I’m overwhelmed. I’m tired. But I need you.”

💫 What Happens When You Surrender?

When you truly open up and release it all to God, something begins to shift.

It may not happen instantly, but gradually:

your heart feels lighter

your thoughts become calmer

your spirit feels more grounded

And before you even realize it, you’re no longer overwhelmed the way you were before.

That’s the peace of God taking over.

You’ll find yourself calm in situations that once stressed you. And in time, you’ll begin to see things turn around—sometimes even better than you imagined.

🙏 Your Invitation Today

So today, I invite you to ask yourself:

What am I holding onto that I need to surrender?

What would it look like to release the chaos and trust the One who can carry you through it?

Let today be the day you choose peace.

Let today be the day you let go.

Allow Yourself to Enjoy the Blessings You’ve Been Given

What’s up wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people?

Thank you so much for checking out my blog today. It’s a beautiful day, and I’m super excited to be back with another post. Today, I want to talk about something that has been sitting deeply on my heart: allowing yourself to truly enjoy the blessings you’ve been given.

Recently, I had a conversation with my sweet man that really opened my eyes. I was sharing how, whenever he offers to take care of the baby and encourages me to just go do my thing—without worrying or struggling—it brings up a mix of emotions for me. On one hand, I feel excited and grateful. On the other hand, there’s this lingering thought of, “Wow… I actually have time.”

When Blessings Feel Unfamiliar

For so long, my life consisted of doing everything at once—being a mom, running a business, working under constant pressure, and trying to keep up with everything with barely enough time. Now, things have shifted. I have support. I have help. I have space.

And yet, I noticed something interesting about myself.

Even with help, my body still holds onto tightness. There’s this internal pressure—almost like I should still be rushing or struggling—despite the fact that there’s no longer a reason to. That pressure is familiar. It’s what I’ve known for years.

Learning to Accept Help Without Guilt

What I’m doing intentionally now is this:

I’m accepting the help that’s available to me and allowing it to actually help me.

I’m choosing to do things calmly, confidently, and intentionally—rather than from stress or survival mode. I’m reminding myself that I have enough time. I don’t need to rush. I don’t need to operate under pressure to prove anything.

And I’m sharing this because I know I’m not alone.

Breaking Free From Old Patterns of Pressure and Struggle

Sometimes, we become so used to pressure and struggle that when it’s no longer required, we subconsciously recreate it. Even when life has changed for the better, we keep operating from old programs, old behaviors, and old survival patterns that no longer serve us.

So today, I’m calling myself—and you—into something new.

Living in the Present, Not the Past

Let’s choose to live in the present.

Not in past pain.

Not in past struggle.

Not in outdated mindsets that no longer apply.

Could it be that some of us desire more abundance, yet struggle to enjoy what we already have because we’re so used to not having enough? Could it be that the abundance we prayed for is already here—but we haven’t fully allowed ourselves to receive it?

Gratitude, Breath, and Awareness

Today, I invite you to pause.

Take a deep breath.

Notice your life right now.

The life you’re living today may very well be the life you once prayed for—and it is good.

It is okay to accept help.

It is okay to rest.

It is okay to stop working under pressure and start working from inspiration, excitement, intuition, alignment, and power.

Choose Joy Intentionally

As you go about your day today, don’t steal your own joy.

Be intentional about what you’re intentional about.

Notice what you’re noticing.

Allow the help. Accept the change. Embrace the peace.

There is no power in pressure.

There is no joy in constant stress.

And there is so much beauty in allowing yourself to enjoy the blessings you’ve been given.

Don’t let anyone—and especially not yourself—steal your joy 💛
