Change Is Linguistic: Speak the Language of Where You’re Going

What’s up, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people?

How are you all doing today? I truly hope you’re having an amazing day and not allowing anyone—or anything—to steal your joy. Welcome to I’m Joy for Life. It’s a beautiful day, and I’m so grateful to share this moment with you.

Today, I want to talk about something that has been deeply resonating with me lately: what’s in your language.

One of my coaches often reminds me that change is linguistic. In other words, the words we speak matter more than we realize. When we change how we speak, we change what we attract into our lives—and I believe that with my whole heart.

Recently, I took time to honestly evaluate the words I’ve been using to talk about my goals, my life, and myself. What I discovered surprised me. I realized I hadn’t been as positive as I thought I was. Instead of speaking from vision, I had been speaking from circumstance. I was allowing current results—and sometimes past disappointments—to determine my language.

But here’s the truth: if we want to change our lives, we have to use our higher faculties. We must use our perception, our reason, and our intuition. We must begin to think, see, and speak as the person we desire to become—not as the person defined by present conditions.

When we constantly evaluate ourselves based on our current situation, we recreate the same results over and over again. But when we shift our language, we shift our reality.

I realized that no matter what is happening on the outside, I have the power to change the inside. And the inside always comes first. I can refuse to let external circumstances control my attitude, my expectations, or my words. Instead, I can choose to speak the language of where I’m going—as if I’m already there.

Every word we speak carries a vibration. Every sentence we form is creating something. If we’re always talking about what’s not working, thinking about what’s missing, and repeating old stories, that’s exactly what we continue to experience. Not because we’re bad or broken—but because language is creative.

So I’m choosing differently.

I’m choosing to speak from the goal, not the gap.

I’m choosing to see myself where I’m going, not where I’ve been.

I’m choosing to speak as the version of me who has already achieved what she desires.

And I want to encourage you to do the same.

Stop allowing past results and current circumstances to dictate what you speak and what you expect. If you’ve been in the habit of saying, “I can’t,” I want you to know this: you can. You can, you can, you can.

Your spirit is beautiful.

Your spiritual DNA is powerful and perfect.

There is no limit to where you can take yourself.

My coach often says, “There is no end to where you can take yourself,” and today, I choose to accept that idea fully. I choose to believe that I can create what I want. I refuse to allow past or present results to control my attitude, my language, or my future.

From this moment forward, I choose to speak positivity.

I choose to believe.

I choose to think and speak like I’ve already achieved my goals.

I am going higher.

Better things than I’ve ever imagined are coming my way.

I am successful.

I am abundant.

I am worthy.

Success is my birthright.

I refuse to allow the past to control my future.

From this present moment, I choose to create a future I’m proud of—a future filled with joy, excitement, fulfillment, and freedom. A future created on my terms, not dictated by past failures, other people’s expectations, or old limitations.

So today, I invite you to stand strong with me. Decide what you want. Speak the language of where you’re going. Act as though it’s already done—because you are capable.

Remember this: you are the prize.

The goal isn’t more important than you.

You are powerful because you have the ability to create what you desire.

And it all starts with how you think, how you feel, and—most importantly—how you speak.

Let’s get excited. Let’s be grateful that we have the power to change our lives starting today. And let’s refuse to allow situations, people, or the past to steal our joy.

Thank you so much for being here and reading this today. I appreciate you more than you know.

Just Do It Now: How Taking Action Breaks Procrastination and Restores Your Joy

What’s up, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people? 💕

How are you all doing today? Thank you so much for stopping by Myriam’s Joyful Life. It’s truly a privilege to be here and to share another life insight with you. My hope is that this message encourages you, uplifts you, and helps you move forward on your journey.

Today, I want to talk about something we all face at some point: procrastination—and the freedom that comes when we finally take action.

Knowing What Needs to Be Done… But Still Delaying

Recently, there was something I knew I needed to do. I knew it was important. I knew it required my attention, focus, and preparation. And I also knew it was connected to something I really wanted for my life.

Yet, for some reason, I felt heavy.

My body didn’t want to move.

My mind kept saying, “I can wait. I’ll do it later.”

Have you ever experienced that feeling—when you know exactly what needs to be done, but everything in you resists starting?

Stuck on the Hamster Wheel of Indecision

I realized I was stuck in a cycle of indecision. I wasn’t moving forward, but I wasn’t letting it go either. I kept postponing the task, hoping the feeling would pass or that I’d feel more motivated later.

But instead of getting easier, the weight of the task grew heavier.

That’s the danger of procrastination—it convinces us that waiting will help, when in reality, waiting only adds pressure and stress.

Choosing Action Even When It Feels Hard

Eventually, I made a decision: I was going to do it anyway.

I started.

I stayed focused.

I completed the task.

And once it was done, everything changed.

I felt lighter.

I felt accomplished.

I felt excited.

And yes—I celebrated 🎉

That’s when I asked myself, “Why did I struggle with this in the first place?” Why did I allow fear, hesitation, or discomfort to keep me stuck, when taking action brought so much peace and joy?

Procrastination Steals Joy — Action Restores It

This experience reminded me how often we do this in life. We delay the very things that will move us forward. We allow laziness, fear, or discouragement to slow us down—even when there’s no real reason.

When we procrastinate:

The problem feels heavier

Our stress increases

Our joy decreases

But when we take action:

The burden lifts

Confidence grows

Life becomes more enjoyable

This is the power of delayed gratification—doing what needs to be done now so we can enjoy the results later.

Be a Person of Action

When we choose to act, even when it feels uncomfortable, we create momentum. While others may feel stuck or frustrated, decisive people experience peace and progress—because they handled the task at hand.

If something must be done, the best time to do it is now.

Do It Now — Your Future Self Will Thank You

Today, I want to encourage you:

Whatever you’ve been postponing, get up and do it.

Stop procrastinating. Procrastination steals your joy, your peace, and your forward movement. The faster you take action, the more enjoyment and freedom you’ll experience later.

And when you finish—celebrate. Celebrating reinforces positive habits, confidence, and the mindset of doing things right when they’re supposed to be done.

Final Encouragement

I feel so good after taking action, and that’s why I’m writing this—to encourage you to do the same.

Get to it.

Just do it.

Do it now.

Create Time on Purpose: Why Scheduling Your Life Creates Freedom

Good afternoon , wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely friends!

Today is December 11, and I want to share a simple truth that has been transforming the way I move through each day:

If you don’t schedule it and create time for it, anything will come up and fill that space.

Lately, I’ve noticed how easy it is to slip into a cycle of constant busyness. You jump from task to task, chase distractions, answer every call, check every notification — and it feels like you’re being productive. But when you sit down at the end of the day, you realize something powerful:

You were moving, but not progressing.

You were active, but not effective.

Like a hamster on a wheel — busy, but going nowhere meaningful.

And the sneaky part? It tricks your mind into thinking you’re accomplishing something simply because you were “doing.”

Why We Must Schedule What Matters

When you intentionally block time for what truly needs your focus, you’re no longer reacting — you’re leading your day.

Without a schedule, anything can slip in and consume your mind, your energy, and your emotional space. But with a clear plan, you create boundaries that protect your purpose.

Time doesn’t just “show up.”

You create it.

You claim it.

You direct it with intention.

Come Back to Awareness

Today, I invite you to step into deeper awareness.

Let’s pause.

Let’s breathe.

And let’s become conscious of being conscious.

When you show up fully present in each moment, your actions carry power. Your decisions mean something. You make progress that impacts not only your own life, but also everyone connected to you.

This is how you create purpose.

This is how you create momentum.

This is how you create a meaningful life.

🌞 Good Morning Wonderful, Amazing, Sweet, and Lovely Friends! | Mindful Living & Joyful Productivity

Good morning, my wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely friends! 💛

It’s December 10, and I just wanted to share something that’s been on my heart.

Lately, I’ve noticed myself hurrying through the day — rushing from one task to another, trying to squeeze a million things into just a few minutes. It often feels like I’m racing against everyone else’s schedules, constantly striving to meet deadlines and expectations.

Sound familiar?

Even when I have plenty of time to get things done, I still find myself looking for one more thing to do five minutes before an important meeting — even if it has no real impact on my goals or happiness.

That’s when I had to pause and ask myself:

👉 Could it be that I’ve trained myself to hurry?

👉 Have I created a pattern of busyness that keeps me distracted from what truly matters?

💭 Living Consciously vs. Living on Autopilot

When we don’t live consciously — when we don’t choose what to do and why we do it — we end up letting life run us instead of the other way around.

We fill our days with noise and motion, confusing activity for progress. But all that rushing can actually make us less productive and steal our peace.

Living consciously means slowing down enough to notice what you’re doing and why. It means giving yourself permission to breathe, to be intentional, and to focus your time on what truly aligns with your purpose and joy.

Because when we’re not aware, we’ll unconsciously use our time on things that waste it — leaving less room for what matters most.

🌸 A Simple Reminder for Today

As you move through your day, I want to encourage you to pay attention to what you’re paying attention to.

Ask yourself:

✨ Am I doing this because it matters to me — or just because I’m used to being busy?

✨ Is this moment helping me grow, or is it just filling time?

Take a deep breath.

Slow down.

Be present.

Your peace and your joy are too precious to trade for busyness. 💕

💖 Final Thoughts

Let’s choose intentional living over hurried living. Let’s slow down, live consciously, and fill our days with purpose and joy.

Have an amazing day today, my friends — and remember:

🌞 Don’t let anyone steal your joy!
