Happy Money December: My Epiphany About Stress, Money & Choosing Joy
Hello, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people!
How are you all doing today? I hope you are having an amazing day and that you are choosing joy no matter what.
As we step into Happy Money December, I want to share something deeply personal that has been transforming the way I think, feel, and respond to money.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been intentionally studying money — not just the physical aspect of it, but the energy, emotions, and reactions attached to it. And what I noticed is this: so many of us, including myself, have allowed money to stress us out. We get anxious when it seems like there’s not enough. We panic when unexpected bills show up. We trigger old fears and stories we were taught or witnessed growing up.
But then something shifted for me…
I had an epiphany.
I realized that my reaction to money was creating more stress than the money situation itself. If I don’t consciously choose to respond with happiness and trust regardless of what my bank account looks like, then I am only going to attract more worry, more frustration, and more reasons to stress — even about things that have nothing to do with money.
It hit me that it’s all a choice.
And the difference… is me.
I can decide to be happy no matter what.
I can choose joy instead of anxiety.
I can choose faith instead of fear.
I can allow money to be a neutral thing instead of an emotional trigger.
And when I make that shift, I naturally attract more things that bring me joy — including money.
As I’ve been reviewing my behaviors, reactions, and thoughts, I came to a simple but powerful conclusion:
It is a dumb idea to worry about money.
Because if money is simply God in action — a normal part of divine circulation that helps me meet my needs, live life, take care of my family, give, sow, pay for services, and bless others — then money must flow to me from wherever it currently is through divine orchestration.
God is my Source.
God created me.
God created the universe.
And if that is true (which it is!), then everything I need is already supplied in abundance.
So here is my new declaration for this month and beyond:
I now allow my Happy Money to flow to me with ease from expected and unexpected sources.
I release stress.
I choose joy.
I choose peace.
I choose abundance.
And I trust God to supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.
