Good morning, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people. 🌞
It’s a beautiful day today, and I’m truly happy you’re here.
Today, I want to talk about something that recently came to my attention: doing the steps and following the instructions instead of constantly reviewing the instructions.
I noticed that I’ve gathered a lot of strategies around mindset training. Books, PDFs, notes, exercises, teachings — all meant to help me create a better mindset and a better life. On top of that, I have spiritual practices I love, like meditation and visualization exercises. All of it is good. All of it has value.
But here’s what I noticed…
When I started thinking too much about everything I needed to do — all the strategies, all the instructions, all the practices — I started to feel distracted, overwhelmed, and mentally cluttered. Instead of feeling more peaceful, I felt anxious. Instead of feeling freer, I felt weighed down.
And then a powerful realization hit me.
The reason I’m doing mindset work is to create peace, clarity, freedom, and joy — not more chaos, confusion, or pressure.
Could it be that what was meant to help me had slowly turned into information overload?
Could it be that mindset work had become another “to-do list” instead of a pathway to the life I actually want?
That’s when I asked myself one simple but life-changing question:
What is the ONE thing I need to do right now that will move me closer to my goal?
Not ten things.
Not everything at once.
Just one clear, aligned action.
And the answer was simple:
I need to focus on getting better at my craft. I need to practice. I need to show up. I need to do the work.
I realized that I was spending a lot of time priming myself — reading, planning, preparing, visualizing — but not enough time actually becoming the person who gets the result. You can’t just prepare forever. At some point, you have to practice. You have to implement. You have to take action.
You can read every instruction in the world, but if you never apply it, nothing changes.
That’s why I wanted to bring this message to you today.
Could it be that the reason you’re feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or anxious is because you’re stuck planning instead of doing?
Could it be that you’re thinking about the steps, studying the steps, and talking about the steps — but not actually taking the steps?
Planning has its place. Learning has its place. Mindset work is powerful.
But implementation is what creates results.
So today, as you evaluate everything on your plate, ask yourself:
Am I practicing the skill I want to master?
Am I taking the actions that move me forward?
Am I reaching out, following up, applying, signing up, testing, showing up?
Read the books — yes.
Take the courses — yes.
Learn the knowledge — yes.
But then use it. Practice it.
Apply it.
Do the thing.
That’s what leads to freedom.
That’s what builds confidence.
That’s what changes your life.
So let’s stop planning the plan.
Let’s start taking action.
Let’s start making real progress toward the life we want.
And as always — don’t let anybody steal your joy. 💫
