It’s A New Day and Here’s What I’m Praying For You

 

Good morning, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people! 🌸 Thank you so much for checking out my blog today. It’s truly a beautiful day, and I’m excited to be here with you. As I sit here with my sweet baby, I felt led to encourage somebody out there who might need a word of hope today.

When Life Feels Too Heavy

Maybe your situation feels heavy right now. Maybe you’re facing something that seems impossible. Maybe it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the entire world on your shoulders. I want to remind you of something important: you don’t have to carry it all alone.

Scripture tells us to “cast all our burdens on the Lord, for He cares for us.” (1 Peter 5:7). What’s going on in your mind might be adding more weight than the situation itself, but God never intended for you to walk through this life in your own strength.

Choosing to Reset Your Mind

Today, I invite you to pause and say to yourself:

“There’s no heavy weight on me. God is my strength and God is the one carrying me.”

The heaviness you feel is not from God. It’s a lie meant to drain your hope. Instead, choose to surrender and pray:

“Lord, I give You this burden. I can’t do this on my own, and I was never meant to. You are my strength and my hope. Have Your way in me.”

A Prayer Over You Today

As you release your burdens, I am joining you in prayer and asking the Holy Spirit to:

• Guide and protect you
• Fill you with peace and joy that cannot be explained
• Surround you with divine favor like never before
• Bless your work, your home, your children, and your relationships
• Direct your every step and let mercy speak for you

May today be a day of breakthrough and remembrance in your life. 💖

It's Been A Few Days But I'm Here

 Hello wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely friend. Hope this post meets you in great spirits. I have been so busy being a mom and working on other business plans that I forgot to say consistent with posting but I'm here now.

God is so good and always finds a way to reach out to us when we call. Are you overwhelmed, tired, frustrated and or at the verge of giving up? I'm here with good news, He's right there with you and saying this to you "My help is available to you and my strength is bigger than your mistakes and failures. Let me help you carry your burdens!" Are you going to willingly surrender or hold on to what is hurting you or will you right now, honestly open your heart and let God help?

As for me, right this minute, I'm surrendering all of it to God! I don't want to be in the belly of the fish to remember to pray. I want to 'skip the fish' as Pastor Steven Furtick advised in one of his videos about "God thoughts." I don't want to wait anymore until things get out of hand to cry out to my Heavenly father. I advise you to do the same.

I'm praying for God's grace and strength to wrap around you and guide you today and make your day! 

You're worthy and deserving of God's help today!

THE CHARGER WAS NOT EVEN CONNECTED

 

The charger was not connected

What'sup wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people? How are y'all doing today? Hope you're having an amazing day today and not letting anyone steal your joy! Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life Blog!

I just had a HolyGhost lightbulb moment and wanted to share it with you all. 

A couple of hours ago, I wanted to connect one of my phones to charge but was struggling to get it to charge. It seemed like the charger head I had was not working correctly, so I switched the head for one I knew was good. After switching them out, it still wouldn't work. I didn't even see a sign that the phone was charging, even after playing around with it to get it to work, I still wasn't making a head way. Then I decided to take a second  look at the connection to the extension. 

That was when I noticed that while I had the right head connected, the charger wasn't connected to the power source. Then it hit me! WOW! How often do we prepare ourselves for what we want to achieve and have all the right tools but forget to connect our charger heads to the extension for power to come through? 

I think that there are times when we spend a lot of time doing "the right things," and still end up falling short because we forget to plug into the power source. 

Today, I'd like to remind us (myself included), to pay attention to the little things! The smallest detail if missed, could be the cause of BIG setbacks! 

Remember to plug into the power source. In life, the first power source we need is a prayerful life. 

In ALL THINGS, PRAY!

Remember to pray for guidance, protection and Divine provision and trust that God will come through!

God’s Protection: Why Prayer Matters Every Day

 What’s up, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people? 💕

Welcome to Maryam’s Joyful Life Blog! I am so excited to share today’s post with you because it’s a testimony of God’s protection over my life and my family.

A Scary Moment at the Store

This morning started out just like any other. I got my kids ready for school, dropped them off, and then took the baby with me to the store to grab a few things we needed.

On our way out of the parking lot, something unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, a big truck came straight toward us—even though it was a one-way exit. For a moment, it felt like the truck was headed directly at us.

By God’s grace, I was able to stop fast enough before there was a collision. 🙌 Only God knows what could have happened if I hadn’t.

I then noticed the man driving the truck was moving strangely around the parking lot—entering the wrong way, circling in and out of the wrong spots. It almost felt intentional, like an attack. That moment reminded me why it’s so important to stay prayed up and covered by God’s protection.

The Power of Prayer

Family, I can’t emphasize this enough: pray before you leave your home. Prayer is our shield. The Bible tells us that the enemy roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. But we don’t have to live in fear, because God is our protector.

Here are some powerful scriptures I encourage you to pray daily over yourself and your loved ones:

• Psalm 91 – For divine protection
• Psalm 23 – For peace and provision
• Psalm 121 – For God’s constant watch over us
• Psalm 109 & Psalm 35 – For protection against the plans of the wicked

Today, I want to declare over you:

✨ No evil shall befall you or your family.

✨ God’s angels are watching over your steps.

✨ It will always be good news concerning you and your household.

God is with you, His favor surrounds you, and His protection covers you.

The Lovejoy Farm Fresh Store and Garden is a vision that has blossomed into reality thanks to the passion of local leaders and the dedication of residents who believe in taking care of one another.

A Vision Rooted in Community

Former Mayor Bobby Cartwright, who is also a farmer, first had the vision for the store and garden. For a while, that vision slowed down as the city explored other directions. But thanks to the leadership of Mayor Marci Fluellyn, the garden has been brought back to life. With her commitment to community and food accessibility, the project is thriving again—stronger than ever.

During my visit, I was able to purchase some produce, and I can honestly say everything was fresh, delicious, and affordable. This past Saturday, we had the joy of attending the Love Joy Fall Festival, and it was such an incredible experience. The atmosphere was full of excitement, laughter, and community. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a fun-filled day for the entire family.

A Packed Festival Full of Energy

Parking was a challenge because the event was packed! Families were everywhere, kids were running toward the bouncy houses, and the park was filled with music, delicious smells, and lots of happy faces.

The Love Joy Fall Festival truly brought the community together in a beautiful way.

Food Vendors, Surprises & Nigerian Flavors

The festival had a wide variety of vendors — from Jamaican food stalls to clothing, jewelry, and natural body care products. But one of the best surprises was discovering a Nigerian food vendor called Asake’s Kitchen.

We tried her jollof rice, plantain, meat pie, and chicken, and let me just say… it was DELICIOUS! The flavors were rich, authentic, and full of love. Ashakez Kitchen really made us feel like we had a little taste of Nigeria right here in Georgia.

Family Fun & Lasting Memories

Even though it was hot (yes, I was sweaty 😅), the kids had the best time playing, eating, and enjoying the games. We brought our camera along and filmed the entire experience because we wanted you to see just how amazing the festival was.

Something amazing happened today that reminded me of one of the most powerful lessons in life—the importance of gratitude.

I crossed paths with someone whose story touched me deeply. This person once had everything going for them—success, opportunities, people who supported them—but their life slowly fell apart. Why? Because they stopped being grateful to those who helped them along the way. They forgot to honor the people God placed in their lives and instead became prideful and careless with relationships.

That encounter left me reflecting on my own life. I never want to lose sight of the truth that everything I have is because of God’s goodness, and the people He has used to bless me. Gratitude is not just about saying thank you—it’s about living with a heart that recognizes that every blessing, big or small, comes from above.

When we walk in gratitude, we attract more joy, peace, and even more blessings. But when we choose ungratefulness, we close the door to opportunities and relationships that could lift us higher.

Today, I am reminded to never stop thanking God—for my family, for my health, for each new day, and for the people He places in my path to encourage me. Gratitude keeps us humble, keeps us joyful, and keeps us moving forward.

So, my encouragement to you is this: pause today and give thanks. Thank God for what you have, and don’t forget to thank the people who help bring joy, love, and encouragement into your life. Gratitude is the seed that grows into abundance. 🌱✨

Patience, Prayer, and God’s Perfect Timing: A Lesson from My Baby’s First Tooth

I hope you’re having an amazing day today and that you’re not letting anybody steal your joy. Welcome back to Maryam’s Joyful Life Blog. It’s a beautiful day, and I’m super excited to share this post with you all. God has been giving me little insights through everyday experiences, and today’s story is one of those sweet reminders of His faithfulness.

So, my baby girl is now seven months old—and guess what? Her first tooth finally popped through! 🦷✨

Now let me back up a bit. With my other babies, their teeth came in much earlier. Levion’s teeth came out when he was about three months old. Zoe’s teeth started around four or five months. Naturally, I expected the same with my sweet Layla. In fact, she began showing teething signs as early as one and a half months. I thought, Okay, here we go—it’s about to happen any day now.

But three months passed—no teeth.

Four months passed—still nothing.

Five months—nothing again.

I won’t lie, I started to feel a little worried. But instead of giving in to anxiety, I turned to prayer. I prayed over her every day. I pleaded the blood of Jesus over her and even spoke directly to her little gums: Teeth, you better come out in the name of Jesus!

The Bible tells us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). So that’s what I did. Whenever worry crept in, I replaced it with thanksgiving. I reminded myself that God is faithful, and His timing is perfect.

And then, lo and behold—on the very day Layla turned seven months old—I looked inside her mouth and saw it. A tiny tooth finally breaking through! My heart leaped with gratitude and joy. It may have taken longer than her siblings, but it came right on time.

The Lesson God Taught Me Through This

As I reflected on this moment, God placed something powerful on my heart:

• Every situation is different. Just because something happened quickly for someone else doesn’t mean your blessing is late.
• Patience is key. Worrying doesn’t speed things up; it only robs us of joy.
• Pray about everything. Big or small, God cares. Lay it all before Him.
• God’s timing is perfect. When it happens, it will be beautiful, and it will be worth the wait.

This experience reminded me that many of us give up too quickly when things don’t happen on our timetable. We compare ourselves to others, thinking, If it didn’t happen for me when it happened for them, maybe it’s never going to happen. But that’s not true.

Just like my baby’s tooth, your miracle might take longer—but it will come right when God says it’s time.

A Word of Encouragement for You

I believe I’m speaking to someone today. Maybe you’ve been waiting, praying, and wondering why your breakthrough hasn’t shown up yet. Let me encourage you: this is your “seventh month” season. That miracle you’ve been waiting for is about to show up. 🙌

The Bible says in Matthew 7:7—“Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

So don’t stop asking. Don’t stop seeking. Don’t stop knocking. Your answer is on the way. Get your heart ready. Get your home ready. Get your mind ready. Because your life is about to change for good.

Final Thoughts

That’s all I have for you today, friends. My encouragement is simple: keep praying, keep trusting, and don’t let anybody steal your joy. God is faithful, and your miracle is closer than you think.
