Double Blessings Find You

Isn’t it amazing how life sometimes surprises us in the most beautiful ways?

Have you ever wanted something for a long time, planned for it, saved for it, finally gathered the resources and said, “Okay, I’m getting this for myself”—only to discover that someone else had already gotten the exact same thing for you as a gift? Not similar. Not close. The exact thing.

That’s what I call a double blessing.

What makes it even more powerful is when it comes from an unexpected source. Those moments remind us that we are never alone, never overlooked, and never forgotten.

Recently, I was speaking with one of my clients who shared a story that truly made my heart smile. He had gone out and purchased three things for himself—items he genuinely needed and wanted. Later, he found out that someone else had already bought those exact same three items for him as gifts. Because of that, he was able to return what he purchased with his own money and keep what was gifted to him instead.

When he told me, I laughed and joked, “You must have been really nice this year—Santa remembered you!” He was surprised, but more than that, he was genuinely happy. And honestly, so was I.

Stories like that remind me how intentional God is. Nothing is random. Nothing is wasted.

So today, I want to pause and speak life over you.

I want to pray for you.

That thing that feels impossible right now…

That thing you’ve been saving for…

That thing you’ve been quietly praying about…

That miracle you’ve been believing for…

I’m praying that God places it in the heart of someone who already has the resources to make it happen for you. I’m praying that divine supply finds you right where you are. I’m praying for grace, favor, and supernatural provision to meet you in ways you never imagined.

In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

You are blessed beyond measure.

Miracles are beginning to unfold right in front of you.

Get ready—because it’s about to happen.

You will rejoice. You will rejoice.

Declare this with confidence:

“I will rejoice. The thing I desire—God has already placed it in the heart of someone to do it for me. Someone with the resources to bless me. And it’s coming as a gift.”

It’s coming.

It’s already in motion.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

And remember—don’t let anyone steal your joy.

What’s meant for you is finding you.

The Power of Resourcefulness: Using What You Already Have

What’s up wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people 💛
Thank you so much for checking out MaryamsJoyfulLife today. It’s a beautiful day, and I’m grateful you’re here.

Today, I want to share a simple lesson I recently learned—and one I was able to teach my kids at the same time—about resourcefulness, creativity, and choosing a different path instead of the most convenient one.

We were out returning a few items we had sent back to vendors. As usual, we stopped by the UPS store near our home, scanned the QR codes, and had the labels printed. Everything was going smoothly until we got to one item. I didn’t have the right-sized box for it. The employee let me know that if I wanted to purchase a box, it would cost an extra $5.

Now, I could have easily paid the $5—but I didn’t want to. This was a return meant to put money back in my pocket, not take more out. Especially since returns with this vendor were supposed to be free.

So I paused for a moment. Instead of reacting quickly, I thought, There has to be another way.

I told the kids we’d complete the return that was ready and come back later for the other one. As we stepped outside, I looked around and realized there was a Dollar Tree right across the street. I said, “Let’s walk over there and see if they have an empty box they’re throwing away.”

We went inside, politely asked an employee if they had a spare box, and they happily gave us one. I also asked if I could use a bit of tape, and they allowed that too. We packed up the item, taped the box, walked back to UPS, scanned the QR code, printed the label, and sent it off—problem solved.

No extra money spent.
A little walking.
A practical lesson learned.

Why am I sharing this?

Because in life, we often jump straight to the costliest or most complicated solution. We make problems feel bigger than they really are. We stress, overthink, analyze, and delay—when the answer is often right in front of us.

Sometimes the solution isn’t painful or hard. It just requires a small step. A step outside our comfort zone. A step that feels different from what’s convenient.

When we sit too long thinking instead of acting, frustration grows. Time is wasted. Patience wears thin. And the problem lingers longer than it ever needed to.

So here’s my question for you:
What is that one thing you’ve been putting off right now?

You’re standing right there, feeling confused or overwhelmed, thinking the answer has to be difficult. Take a deep breath. Pause. Look around. The solution may already be within reach—waiting for one simple action to move you forward.

Thank you so much for reading MaryamsJoyfulLife today. I truly appreciate you.
Have a beautiful day—and don’t let anybody steal your joy 💛✨

How Releasing Small Frustrations Protects Your Joy

Good morning, wonderful, amazing, sweet, and lovely people. It’s a beautiful day today, and I’m so excited to be here on MaryamsJoyfulLife.

Today, I want to talk about letting go.

Before I get into the lesson, let me share a simple but powerful story.

A Small Moment, A Big Lesson

On New Year’s Day, my sweet man, our kids, and I went grocery shopping. We picked up a few items and headed home, thinking we had everything. Once we started putting the groceries away, my sweet man noticed one item was missing.

Immediately, thoughts ran through my mind:

Did we forget it at the store? Should we go back? The store is far…

But instead of spiraling, I paused. I knew we weren’t going back, and I decided not to let it bother me. Sometimes things happen. Sometimes things go missing. And sometimes the best thing you can do is declare, “It’s all working out in our favor.”

So I let it go.

The next day, when I went into the cabinet to get some plantains I had stored there, I noticed something unexpected. Inside the same bag of plantains—because we had bought them at the same shop—was the item we thought we had lost.

There it was, waiting to be used.

I joyfully took it out and, at my sweet man’s suggestion, placed it in the fridge. Later, he cooked it for himself and the kids, and it was absolutely delicious.

What This Taught Me About Energy

In the past, this situation would have frustrated me. I would have asked, “Why does this always happen?” That one thought would have led to a chain reaction—remembering other times things went wrong, draining my energy, and ruining my mood for the day.

But this time was different.

I realized something powerful: energy is everything.

When you focus on what’s missing, what didn’t go as planned, or what you should have done differently, it steals your joy. It pulls you out of the present moment—which is often neutral—and it affects your peace, your relationships, and your entire day.

Negative energy doesn’t stay contained. It spills over and contaminates everything.

Choosing Peace Over Perfection

So today, I want to encourage you to do something simple but life-changing:

When things don’t go your way, say,

“It’s all working out in my favor.”

Smile.

Breathe.

Move forward.

Do not allow small inconveniences, mistakes, or unexpected moments to ruin your day. The Word reminds us that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord—and I know you do.

Even when something doesn’t seem to work out, it’s often a seed being planted for something greater than you could imagine.

A Question for You

What is that thing today that has been stealing your joy?

Can you reframe it and say,

“You know what—this is working out in my favor.”

Focus on the good.

Start giving thanks.

And don’t allow anyone or anything to steal your joy.

Why Readiness Is a Lie

Hello friends, and thank you for being here today. I want to talk about something that quietly holds so many people back without them even realizing it: the idea of readiness.

Here’s the truth—there will never be a perfect time to start moving toward your goal. The belief that you must wait until you feel ready, prepared, or perfectly aligned is one of the biggest lies we’ve accepted for far too long. Waiting feels responsible, but more often than not, it’s just procrastination dressed up as planning.

I’ve discovered through lived experience that the only real time to start is today. Not tomorrow. Not when conditions improve. Not when confidence magically appears. Now.

If there’s a dream pulling at your heart, begin right where you are. Quit planning the plan and get going. There is always something you can do right now that will move you forward.

Is it getting up 30 minutes earlier to meditate and then exercise? Do it.

Is it studying for 10 minutes a day? Do it.

Is it saying thank you when someone does something kind for you? Do it.

Is it making your bed when you wake up? Do it.

Don’t wait to think about it. Action creates clarity—not the other way around.

When you stay ready instead of waiting to get ready, you train your nervous system to respond with action. You break the habit of wasting time and reinforce the identity of someone who moves, even when it feels uncomfortable. That discomfort isn’t a sign to stop—it’s a sign you’re growing.

This is how I live my life. If something needs to be done and I truly want it, I don’t wait. I act, even when it feels inconvenient or uncomfortable. And every single time I take action, I feel better, stronger, and more aligned.

Momentum builds confidence. Action builds belief.

If you’re ready to elevate your approach, stop overthinking, and actually get things done—with support, structure, and accountability—I’m here to help.
